On the second floor of the home, guests encounter three bedrooms furnished with family antiques. One bedroom serves as the bridal suite and has special features to accommodate the bride on her big day, including a make-up table, an archway hook from which to hang her gown and a full- length mirror. The second floor also offers a small concession area with a refrigerator and snacks and a library stocked with North Carolina-themed books.
The finished basement area, affectionately referred to as the "Dungeon," houses a wine cellar, office space and the fourth guest bedroom. There is also a common area where the groom and his attendants gather prior to the wedding. It includes a concession area, leather sofa, television and a coffee table that they can put their feet on.
